Established in 1948 as the first state organization of Louisiana Surgeons. Our mission is to enhance the surgical experience, encourage the highest standards of ethical surgical practice, advocate for Louisiana surgeons and their patients.

You can apply for membership online or by mail. The Chapter looks forward to having you as a member.
Enter information into the Electronic Form and then click on “Submit” to submit your application electronically. Note: Payment should not be made through the Internet; send payment with the printable form, or the Chapter will bill you.
There are two payment options, check or credit card. If paying by check, print your confirmation page and mail to Chapter Headquarters with your check for the appropriate dues amount.
Once you have completed the form, your application is sent immediately to the SAL office.
